Taawun @30: A Trip Down Memory Lane (2)

When the journey started in 1414AH nobody expected it to be tough and rough. But despite the challenges, accidents, deaths, and war of hypocrites, we remain on top of every difficulty with our love for Islam and humanity in general.

What we admire are the Islamic renaissance and societal reformation. It was this that led to the commissioning of the Islamic Centre For Research And Human Development in 2017 by Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola.

Kashim Shetima, the vice president-elect, then he was the governor of Borno State, his counterpart from Kebbi state, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, senator Ali Ndume, and some other important dignitaries were among those that added their value, not to the occasion but to the city of Iwo in general. And today, the development we brought, and the type of Islam we reintroduce into the the Yoruba race- the practical Islam, are still much more alive to change the outlook of Islam in Yorubaland.
